H I S T O R Y
The vision that gave birth to the RCCG Heaven’s Gate was given to Pastor Mike Ayanbode of RCCG Lagos Province 14, Okota, Lagos Nigeria in 2008. The initial cost of establishment was funded by Lagos Province 14. This vision is part of the overall vision of the RCCG to reach the whole world before the return of the Son of God to the earth.
Though, there had been in existence 4 Parishes of RCCG in Western Cape with the Headquarters in Victory Tabernacle, Parrow, pastored by Pastor Sola Oduwole and his amiable wife, RCCG Heaven’s gate started effectively on the 5th April 2009 which coincidentally is the birthday of the pioneering pastor, Pastor Honour Olushola Joseph.
The Church actually started with 2 workers and the Pastor and since then many workers has been trained and more to come into the workforce to the glory of God. Heaven’s Gate is a family church where fellowship of the Holy Spirit is being emphasized and the Love of Jesus Christ is being practiced without compromise. It is a place of destiny encounter and fulfillment.
